Stephanie was born and raised in Germany and has been living in Alamogordo, New Mexico since 2015.
She is a professional photographer for families and children since 2013. As a wife and mother of 3 boys, she knows, how quickly their looks and personality can change and how important it is to capture that transient moment. That’s why you will never find artificial smile portraits in her portfolio. She will always find a way to show your and your children’s true spirit to create true memories in creatively photographed and edited portraits.
Stephanie also believes in service and creating real heirlooms for your family. Photos of you are a legacy and they do not deserve to be dusted in your drawer. She will help you through the – sometimes overwhelming – process. This includes help in choosing your style for your portrait-appointment and, in the end, she will also help you in finding the best place and the best photos for your wall art and albums.
How her passion began:
“I was looking for a creative channel for years… ok, honestly forever. I tried painting with oil and acrylic paint (even portraits), tried drawing with charcoal. I also made an apprenticeship as a carpenter. But I never lost my heart in one of that.
Then I made the education for an Occupational Therapist… In Germany, there are many different creative craftings to learn during the education. Paired with my desire to work with people, almost perfect.
After the birth of my first son, I started with digital scrapbooking. I got better and better, but the photos I made back then, were taken with the old cell phone cameras and a cheap compact camera (can you even remember how bad the pictures were in the early 2000s?). I wanted to get better pictures and started with a small DSLR Camera. That’s it… I fell in love with that kind of art. That was 7 years ago!
And I still love it …”
